Symptoms:
Workflow failed
No session log is created
Workflow log first error reads: “Failed to prepare the task”
Solution:
One or more objects used by the Workflow are checked out. Check them in.

Please check in all the objects/sessions/mappings etc and re-run the workflow. It should work fine.
